E-II 500mm F8:

A super telephoto focal length equivalent to 300mm in 35mm. This lens will blur the background wide open but stopped down will provide excellent depth of field.

PE 500mm F8

This ultimate telephoto lens contains Low Dispersion (LD) glass elements to reduce internal flare and aberrations. The use of floating elements increases the lenses performance and sharpness. This lens utilizes PE coatings and is a completely different optical design from the E-II 500.
