Tamron announces the development and release of a 1/3"-format, 3.0-9mm, F/1.2, Megapixel Vari-Focal lens with motorized zoom and focus for board cameras (Model DF010NA).

Development Concepts

To benefit from the camera's performance abilities, megapixel cameras require accurate focal adjustments. These adjustments depend on detailed operations. The time-consuming manual adjustments for focus and zoom during installation were a complication for traditional Vari-Focal lenses. Tamron solved this problem with a lens that offered motorized focus and zoom adjustment mechanisms, the new DF010NA - an easy to use lens that drastically reduced installation time.
