In each of these images the Fuji S3 fitted with the Tamron lenses along with the Larson lighting equipment and Creative Backdrops backgrounds enabled me to create the images I had imagined. Trusting my equipment to do the technical jobs I am free to interact
with my clients, gain their trust and see them become more natural in their expressions and interaction with one another. This is where I can be more creative with posing and the end results are the artistic images you see here.

Nikhil- This is an image of an Argentinean drummer for his upcoming sample music CD. It was captured with a Fuji S3 set at ISO 1600 at 1/30 of sec @ f/2.8 with a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens. The subject was sitting on the ground and the lighting was done with the Larson 4x6 soft box and fill provided by a Larson silver/gold reflector. The background is by Creative Backgrounds and was draped to add texture and dimension. Once the image was captured, it was retouched in Adobe Photoshop. After retouching the image was filtered with Kodak's Digital GEM Airbrush Professional.

Family- This image of a mother with her two children became the first in a series of three sessions. The first session was to create a traditional black and white portrait. While working with the clients their relationship began to be revealed and the subsequent images portrayed their relationship. The studio was set up with a Norman ML600 monolight with a Quantum radio slave to fire it. The light modifier used was a Norman 48" Square softbox with an added panel of diffusion material. A gold and silver reflector was used for fill on the shadow side. The image was taken with a Fuji S3 digital camera with Tamron's new AF18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD with an exposure at ISO

Andi- After the family session was completed, several images were made of the mother alone allowing more creativity in the session. The final images were more artistic than the client had envisioned. This image was captured with the Fuji S3, Tamron's new AF18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD with an exposure at ISO 400 of 1/60 @ f/4.8. Once the image was captured it was retouched in Adobe Photoshop and then filtered with Kodak's Digital GEM Airbrush Professional.

Captured- Once I earn the client’s trust and the barriers were lowered it gave vision. The subjects were standing on a black background from Creative Backdrops with sheer metallic fabric stretched from a light stand in front of them held by an assistant. The fabric had to be adjusted by the assistant to achieve the proper amount of light and/or depth to the image. The light source was a 4'x6' soft box by Larson with an additional piece of diffusion material mounted on a Norman monolight with a Quantum radio slave. The image was captured with the Fuji S3, Tamron's new AF18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD with an exposure at ISO 400 of 1/60 @ f/19. The resulting image was retouched in Adobe Photoshop and filtered with Kodak's Digital GEM Airbrush Professional.
