This image was created in the Crockett Studios using the Tamron SP AF28-75mm f2.8 XR Di mounted to a Fuji S2 set to fine JPG mode. We lit this
image with an Elinchrom OctaBank with the front diffusor removed to pick up some added sparkle, and to shoot through it - yes through it.
The cable access slot in the back of the Octa permits a small sized
lens like the 28-75 to slip right through and get the unique quality of
light that only the Octa can do. We added 2 kicker lights from above
and to the sides to light up the subjects hair, and one more strobe
behind the subject to add some dimension to the background. We will be
re-creating the lighting set up and shooting this as well as other
Tamron lenses in our Professional Workflow 2 tour throughout 2005. |
