TAMRON APPOINTS RON LIUZZI EASTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Edwin Guzman Takes Position as Company Sales Representative in Mid Western Region

September 12, 2005, ASIS, Orlando, FL— Tamron USA, Inc. expanded its sales management team by appointing Ron Liuzzi as Eastern Regional Sales Manager and placing a company sales representative, Edwin Guzman, in the Mid Western Region. The Eastern region position had been open since the untimely death of Bob DeMoss in March of this year. The Mid West region was previously handled by the National Sales Manager.

"Filling the vacancy in the East and adding a Midwest position will allow Steve Beaulieu, National Sales Manager, to concentrate on the western territory and his responsibilities in overseeing sales goals for the company," explained Eugene Dyas, Senior Manager of the Industrial Optics Division. "The formation of the new Midwest position ensures we can elevate the level of our customer service and reach our targets for growth in that territory."

Ron Liuzzi’s experience in sales over the last ten years makes him the perfect candidate to handle sales for Tamron dealers and distributors. Ron has worked every side of the security business from manufacturer and distributor to sales representation at Ultrak, The Systems Depot and Kam Sales respectively. His well-rounded industry experience will allow Liuzzi to market Tamron products with an insider’s understanding of all parties’ concerns and issues. Ron is based in Tamron’s Long Island, New York headquarters.

Edwin Guzman's dealer relations, customer service and account management experience is exactly what is needed to service the existing Tamron dealers and distributors in the Midwest and to seek out new customers in the territory. As a senior account executive for Ultrak, Guzman interfaced directly with dealers on a daily basis to guide them in putting together video security solutions for end users, to provide them with technical service, to help them with bidding and more. His understanding of customer service and a commitment to an aggressive travel schedule will help Guzman meet the goals of this expanding the territory. Edwin will work from his Texas office.
