In 1995, Hank Nagashima, then president of Tamron USA, capitalized on her creative skills and appointed her to the position of Advertising Manager. By 1997, Stacie handled all of the company’s communications and was promoted to Director of Marketing Communications in 1999. Today she manages a five-member in-house creative and technical team that handles all aspects of advertising, public relations, trade shows, sales meetings, dealer trainings, field communications, and more for Tamron’s photo lens, Bronica and Industrial Optics divisions. Errera began her career in the photo industry in 1986 after graduating from The State University of New York College at Oneonta and joining a photo specialty retailer as a sales associate. She became that company’s video products buyer shortly thereafter and handled outside sales and bidding opportunities for the company. Nagashima hired her in 1990 after she successfully sold the fledgling Fotovix products into schools and government agencies. Stacie resides in Northport, New York, with her husband and 2-year old daughter.
