Thank you for continuous use of Tamron products.
We are announcing the following symptom found when using TAMRON Lens Utility for Android.
Phenomenon 1: When the TAMRON Lens Utility app is launched, the Tamron company website browser simultaneously becomes active and the TAMRON company website will be displayed.
Phenomenon 2: When you tap the menu "info" in the TAMRON Lens Utility app, the browser app starts, and the TAMRON company website will be displayed which is normal.
However, after that, if you try to return to the TAMRON Lens Utility app, the screen still remains at “info” tab and the screen freezes on white screen.
How to recover
When the problem occurs, you can restore operation of the TAMRON Lens Utility app by trying the following.
Phenomenon 1: By switching the operation target from the browser app to the TAMRON Lens Utility app, you can use the functions of the TAMRON Lens Utility app.
Phenomenon 2: You can use the functions of the TAMRON Lens Utility app by selecting a menu “Lens” or “remote” in the TAMRON Lens Utility app.
*In addition, if you tap the "info" menu again after the operation resumes normally, the same problem will occur. In order to reduce the occurrence of problems, please refrain from using the "info" menu until we release the firmware fixing the problem.
